Spirit Forward is a cocktail bar for people who love good drinks without the fuss.
Built around the character of the spirit, our cocktails draw from classic drinking culture, contemporary technique and a healthy dose of curiosity. The bar itself is designed like a neighbourhood watering hole: warm, unpretentious and always buzzing, with an open counter that puts the bartenders, the drinks and the action right in front of you.
Conceptualised by Arijit Bose for investorant.in, Spirit Forward is serious about cocktails, relaxed about everything else.

Behind the bar
Arijit Bose
Co-Founder · 25 years behind the bar.
Arijit has been in the industry for over 25 years, currently behind some of India’s most loved and awarded bars. He is a veteran of the liquor industry, spanning well-established brands and helping create new craft products, while guiding them to market.
With a six-year stint in the international market out of Singapore, he was the GM at the super bar 28 Hong Kong Street and the Asia Pacific brand ambassador for Monkey 47 Gin and Black Forest Distillers.
Much like the moniker of his Goa bar, Outrigger, an octopus with eight tentacles, he has always had his hand in many pies, including a thriving consultation business that has helped create programmes for over 60 bars across the last decade. All his bars differ in nature and offering, but the thread of high-touchpoint hospitality runs through every one of them.
