Lavelle Road · Bengaluru
A bar that puts the
spirit first.
Cozy, dimly lit, and built for people who love a good dram. Classic cocktails, contemporary pours and the Diabolicals — served on a long Omakase bar by a crew that knows your name.

About the bar
A cocktail dive bar,
clean and well-curated.
Spirit Forward is more than a category of drinks — it's an emotion. Helmed by Arijit Bose, the idea was to go back in time a bit and bring some of those styles of drinks and contemporary classics back into rotation, without leaning on the speakeasy trope.
A clean, well-curated environment, built for everyone to be comfortable in. The menu is a one-pager — our universe of drinks from the Milf and Cookies to the Southern Star, with a potent dash of classics like the Old Cuban and Campfire Old Fashioned.
Cozy, dimly lit, not a lot but the right amount of food, cigars, wine, great music, and a collective of great guests and bar team — that's all Spirit Forward is, and we can't wait to have you over for a drink.

The Diabolicals
The pour, philosophy
Four ideas hold up everything we do — from the moment you sit down to the last sip before close.

01 / Approach
Spirit Forward
We don't hide the spirit — we celebrate it. A 'spirit-forward drinker' is a little more informed, a little better travelled, and finds the beauty of a cocktail in the character of what's poured.

02 / Classics
Contemporary classics
A one-pager of drinks built around proper technique and batching — from the Old Cuban to the Campfire Old Fashioned, the Southern Star to the Palmetto. Served fast, served right.

03 / Season Three
The Diabolicals
A villain-inspired menu celebrating rule-breakers. Bold, spirit-heavy pours with distinctive origin stories. The crew dresses in Diabolicals jackets, the coasters get playful, the references run deep.

04 / The Room
Omakase at the bar
A long stretch of bar in the Omakase style. Three bartenders in full view, theatre on a fast counter, and a room where every seat sees the show — and the bartenders see every seat.
The room
A long stretch of bar.
Three bartenders, an Omakase counter, warm light and theatre on the pass. A small room with a long memory.
